Chelsea have announced that they have reached an agreement with Real Madrid over the transfer of Alvaro Morata.
The club have confirmed that they have had an offer accepted by the Champions League holders, with Morata now set to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical.
Morata was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United but the move broke down as the Old Trafford side opted to sign Romelu Lukaku.

The former Everton forward – Lukaku – was a top target for Antonio Conte but the signing of Morata looks to have eased his disappointment at missing out on the Belgian.
Morata, 24, now looks set to complete a move to Stamford Bridge and become Chelsea’s fourth summer signing.
Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoue Bakayoko have already joined the club this month.
The Spanish international, Morata, is set to replace Diego Costa – who looks like he is on his way back to Atletico Madrid.
