According to the Eastern Daily Press, Norwich City striker Benny Ashley-Seal is on trial with Chelsea.
The 18 year old played an hour of football for Chelsea’s development team in their win against Aldershot on Wednesday.
Ashley-Seal was one of the nine Norwich players whp were offered professional contracts at the end of the season, however, he looks set to snub the contract and look for a move somewhere else.
Norwich would be entitled to a percentage of any future transfers of Ashley-Seal if he decides to reject the contract from the club.
The youngster has been with the Canaries for a long time, playing with them at the U14 level and over the last two years he has started to excell.
It would be a blow for Norwich to lose one of their bright young talents but his arrival would signal once again that Chelsea are one of, if not the, most popular destinations for the brightest young talents in England.
