Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is preparing to bid around €27.5m for Italian winger Antonio Candreva as the Blues boss looks to add a wide-man before the upcoming season, according to a report from Transfer Market Web.
The winger can also play as a wing back which is how Conte normally sets his side up. The Italian boss has worked with Candreva during his time as boss of the Italian national side and is an admirer of the 30-year-old.

Conte has approached Serie A club Inter Milan about the availability of Candreva and the winger is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League.
Candreva managed to get his name on the scoresheet six times last season and assisted ten times from wide areas and is well known for the quality of his crosses into the box.
When Conte was quizzed about whether he would move for Candreva, he replied:
“It’s not correct to speak about the player of the other team. I know that this period is in the period of the transfer market.
“Candreva is Inter’s player and I have great respect for him, for his team and also for my players.”

Candreva joined Inter from fellow Serie A club Lazio last summer and still has three years remaining on his contract with the club but could be ready for a new challenge in the English top flight.
The Chelsea boss is keen to add a wing-back before the new season as talks with Alex Sandro seem to have stalled with the Blues also losing out on Danilo as he signed for rivals Manchester City.
