Kenedy’s Chelsea future is in doubt with Antonio Conte set to leave the Brazilian out of his plans next season after his offensive Instagram posts, the Evening Standard reports.
The 21-year-old, who joined the club from Fluminense for a fee of £6.7 million in 2015, has already been fined for his posts by the club while on tour in China.
He was booed by the local Chinese crowd as he came onto the pitch as a second half substitute against Arsenal on Saturday.
The club released a statement apologising for Kenedy’s posts. However, the punishments for the Brazilian are not likely to stop there with the Brazilian set to be removed completely from Conte’s plans. Kenedy could be loaned out again, however, Conte will have lost a great deal of respect for the 21-year-old.
Kenedy spent last the beginning of last season on loan at Watford. The loan was cut short after only one appearance for the Hornets, with some suggesting his lack of game time was due to an attitude problem.
