Antonio Conte is desperate to add options at both wing-back position this summer but has had no luck thus far.
Chelsea were looking to sign Danilo and Benjamin Mendy, but the pair completed big-money transfers to Manchester City from Real Madrid and Monaco respectively.
For much of the summer, the Blues have been chasing Juventus standout Alex Sandro and have already seen a €56m bid rejected for the Brazilian.

Italian source TMW report that Chelsea are ready to up their bid for the player, but both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are looking to sign the former Porto star.
Juventus have been trying to agree a new contract with Sandro to persuade him to stay at the club, but it’s believed that the left-back is keen on a potential transfer to Chelsea that would make him the most expensive defender of all-time.
Conte wants to bring in several more players this summer and with a new fullback a priority, Chelsea may look to conclude a deal for Sandro before they bring in anyone else.
