Juventus look to have ended their interest in signing Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic this summer.
The Serbian looks set to leave the Blues in the near future, with Antonio Conte having signed Tiemoue Bakayoko from AS Monaco for big money already this month.
It was previously looking to be a two-horse race for the former Benfica man’s signature this summer, with Manchester United and Juventus in the hunt to take Matic off Chelsea’s hands.
However, according to the Independent, the Italian outfit have ended their interest in the powerful midfielder.
The Serie A champions are now claimed to be focusing their attention towards signing PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi, giving United a clear path to acquire the 28-year-old Chelsea man.
Jose Mourinho is stated to be keen on having Matic at his disposal in the imminent future, and despite those higher up at Chelsea reportedly being more interested in selling him to a club abroad, United appear to be in pole position.
