AC Milan appear to be keen on landing Chelsea striker Diego Costa this summer, and the club have held talks with the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes.
The Spain international is poised for a summer exit from Stamford Bridge, and is certainly not short of potential suitors. Atletico Madrid have been linked with a move, but it looks as though Milan are keen to continue their impressive business this window with the acquisition of Costa.

Serie A side Milan’s chief executive Marco Fassone, as quoted by the Daily Mail, confirmed that they had held talks with Mendes over a potential move in the near future.
I would prefer to avoid talking about players from other teams; Diego Costa is a great player, but a Chelsea player.
We went to see [Costa’s agent] Jorge Mendes; there is a lot you can talk to him about. Costa is a great player but he is of Chelsea. That’s all.
Antonio Conte has already landed Costa’s replacement. Alvaro Morata put pen to paper on a long-term contract with Chelsea for what was a club-record fee.
Brazilian-born striker Costa has known his fate since January, and is currently carrying out his pre-season training individually, away from the rest of the Chelsea squad.
