Tammy Abraham seems to be the real deal. The only hurdle he needs to jump is to see if he can cut it in the Premier League.
Having scored 23 goals in the Championship last season with Bristol City, the England U21 international has been sent to Swansea on a year’s loan to see if he has what it takes at the top level.
Interest in Abraham is mounting, as it’s been claimed that Manchester United had a scout watch the striker in action for Swansea during a pre-season friendly with Birmingham last weekend.
Abraham found the net and impressed again for Swansea in front of United’s watchful eyes, while scouts from Everton, Aston Villa and Leicester were also present.
Chelsea signed Abraham to a new long-term contract before shipping him out on loan again but it seems as if the Blues do have a plan for the talented striker who appears to be gearing up for a first-team breakthrough in the near future.
