Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says that he could need four years to make the club Champions League winners.
Conte claims that it may take another four seasons before Chelsea are competing as one of the best club’s in the world and looking to win the Champions League.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Conte said this:
We need time.
Four years? Yes, maybe. To arrive and try to fight for the Champions League, to try to fight to be the best in the world, you need time.
It has been well documented that Conte has grown frustrated by the lack of signings at Chelsea.
This is despite the club splashing a club-record £70m on Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, who scored on his Premier League debut against Burnley.

Chelsea lost 3-2 to Burnley at Stamford Bridge last weekend, possibly highlighting the club’s need for new reinforcements.
The club are reportedly trying to sign new wing-backs to challenge Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses.
Alex Sandro from Juventus and Cedric Soares from Southampton have been heavily linked.
Chelsea travel to Wembley to face Tottenham on Sunday, having lost on their last two visits to England’s national stadium – both to Arsenal.
