Antonio Conte still wants to add a couple of players to his Chelsea squad before the transfer window shuts next week and is said to be interested in Grzegorz Krychowiak.
Chelsea made an initial approach to sign the holding midfielder from PSG last month as a replacement for Nemanja Matic but the Ligue 1 club failed o respond to the Blues because they were swept up in the Neymar transfer saga and trying to sign the Brazilian.
Despite selling Blaise Matuidi to Juventus earlier this month, PSG are open to letting Krychowiak leave as well this summer and Chelsea remain interested in the Poland international, but now face competition from fellow Premier League side West Ham.

Krychowiak was signed by Unai Emery last summer in a €33m deal from Sevilla where he also played under Emery but struggled in his debut season in France and has been made available for transfer.
Conte believes he’s still short of a midfielder this summer and Krychowiak is an option, but they must act fast if they wish to beat West Ham to his signature as the Hammers are also in the market for a holding midfielder.
