After being rejected by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Chelsea have had to go back to the drawing board in their pursuit of another wing-back and are making a last-ditch effort to sign Rafinha from Bayern Munich, claim Bild.
Rafinha has spent several years at Bayern and has been largely a rotational player behind the likes of Philipp Lahm and Joshua Kimmich.
Chelsea want another right-back to compete with Victor Moses and Rafinha has emerged as a late target but Bayern may be unwilling to sell so late in the window to a Champions League rival.

The 31-year-old defender is only contracted with the Bundesliga champions until the end of the season meaning it likely wouldn’t take a large fee to convince Bayern to part ways with him, if they’re even open to a sale.
After Oxlade-Chamberlain’s snub, Chelsea are up against it to find another wing-back before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
