The Spanish striker was poised to join the Blues but their London rivals Spurs have pipped them to his signature, and have now strengthened their attacking depth.
Antonio Conte is a huge admirer of Llorente and was keen to link up with him again after the pair worked well together at Juventus. The striker enjoyed a positive first season in England with Swansea last term, prompting interest from big clubs in the Premier League.

It’s thought that Spurs have paid in the region of £12 million to land the Spain international, with the forward having put pen to paper on a three-year contract at Wembley.
Antonio Conte is now likely to settle with Michy Batshuayi as his sole backup striker, following Diego Costa’s exile.
