Despite failing to secure a move to Atletico Madrid, Chelsea striker Diego Costa has no intentions of returning from his strike in Brazil, according to Matt Law of The Telegraph.
Costa, who was told earlier in the summer that he was no longer needed by manager Antonio Conte, is currently on strike in Brazil and despite Chelsea naming him in their 25-man Premier League squad, the Spanish international sources close to the player say he has offered no indication to suggest that he will return to training.

Chelsea’s decision to include him in their squad means that they cannot be accused of preventing Costa from playing, which is a key detail as lawyers continue to look into this dispute.
Costa still remains keen to make a return to Atletico Madrid but with the transfer window closes, he now has no option to play anywhere else other than Chelsea until January.
