Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has backed new signing Davide Zappacosta to settle in with the side quickly.
The Italian boss addressed the media ahead of his side’s trip to Leicester City on Saturday and, as quoted by West London Sport, discussed why he thinks Zappacosta will have no issues with adapting to his new surroundings.
He also worked with me with the national team and he knows very well my style of football. For this reason it is more simple to adapt to our style of football.
Signed on deadline day for a fee reported to be in the region of £23m, the former Torino wing-back will be hoping to make an impression for Chelsea in the coming weeks.

Zappacosta was brought in by his compatriot Conte to bolster his wide options, adding competition for places on the right, with Victor Moses having featured prominently for the Blues as a starting right wing-back.
Conte reasoned his belief that Zappacosta will settle in a smooth fashion because of his recent ventures with Italy. The defender played for his national side during the recent international break, and comes into contention in good condition for the Blues.
Davide played a game against Israel and it shows he is in good physical condition.
