Diego Costa looks likely to stay at Chelsea until January at the earliest after his proposed loan move to Fenerbahce fell through.
At one point, the Turkish side thought they were close to agreeing a deal to take Costa on loan but talks collapsed and with the window in Turkey closing this evening, they’ve decided to go after another target; Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen.

Costa has fallen out of favour with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and had been desperate to seal a move away, ideally to Atletico Madrid.
However, as it stands, the Spanish international will remain at Stamford Bridge until January, although it seems highly unlikely that he’ll see the field at all.
Cheslea did not register Costa in their Champions League squad and although he is eligible to play in the Premier League, it’s doubtful that Conte will select him.
