Alvaro Morata has been an instant hit at Chelsea following his £70m arrival from Real Madrid in the summer.

Just four Premier League games into the season, Morata has already notched three goals and two assists thus far, filling the void left by Diego Costa exceptionally well.

Morata left Madrid because he could play every week at Chelsea and Real boss Zinedine Zidane has stated that he regrets selling the striker in the summer, wishing he hadn’t done so.

Looking at our squad, we may be missing a number nine. I would have liked Morata to stay but he wanted to play more first-team football elsewhere, which was his decision.

We tried to get in another player, last year we had Morata and Mariano and now only [Borja] Mayoral is in the squad.

Antonio Conte worked with Morata at Juventus where he arguably had his best season of his career to date and the hope is that he can exceed that level of performance at Chelsea this season.
