Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata discussed his move to the Blues with Fernando Torres, the Atletico Madrid man has confirmed.
Morata signed for Chelsea from Real Madrid in the summer and has since enjoyed a fantastic start to life in the Premier League. His hat-trick against Stoke on Saturday typified his recent performances, and the Spaniard will be keen to inflict damage on Atletico in the Champions League.
Torres, too, played for Chelsea some years ago, and admitted that he had been in touch with his compatriot as he pondered a move to Stamford Bridge.

As quoted by the Mirror, Torres spoke of his relationship with Morata.
I spoke with him before he joined Chelsea and told him I would be always on the phone if he needed any advice or if I could help him.
Looking at the start he has made it doesn’t look like he needs any advice at all – already he is playing well and scoring goals. Chelsea have one of the best strikers in Europe – and I am sure he is going to win trophies with them.
The Blues will be looking to steer clear of Atletico on Wednesday night as they gear up for their second Champions League group stage game of the campaign.
Chelsea secured their first win with a 6-0 demolition of Qarabag, while Atletico were held to a draw by Roma in the first game week of the competition.
