Chelsea Football Club have today confirmed that Diego Costa has agreed terms with Atletico Madrid.

The club recently confirmed that they had reached an agreement with the Spanish club regarding the transfer of the Brazilian-born striker, but the player and club have now agreed terms over the move.
Atletico Madrid are currently dealing with a transfer embargo. This means that the terms will only take full effect at the start of the January transfer window, when the ban is lifted.
Costa joined Chelsea from Atletico for a fee in the region of £30m, and went on to enjoy a hugely successful spell with the Blues, in which he achieved two Premier League titles among other honours.
