Conte insists that the best is yet to come with Bakayoko

Tiemoue Bakayoko has enjoyed a good start to his career at Chelsea.

Since his £40m move from Monaco, the Frenchman has impressed when given the opportunity, and is fast becoming a fans’ favourite at Stamford Bridge.

Manager Antonio Conte is evidently keen with how the midfielder has settled in with the Blues, but as quoted by West London Sport, has insisted that the best is yet to come from the 23-year-old.

Bakayoko is 100% fit and is playing very well. For sure he has a lot of room for improvement. He’s a young player and sometimes he makes good things and negative things.

Bakayoko has been putting in some stellar performances in recent times, with his display against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday night another one of quality.

The promising midfielder’s start to his tenure at Chelsea was initially halted due to a knee injury, but it looks as though it was worth the wait, as Bakayoko continues to impress.

We have to try to work together to increase the positive things during games, but he is showing is a really good player and an important player for us.

Bakayoko will hope that his efforts in midweek were enough to earn him a starting place as Chelsea welcome Manchester City on Saturday evening.
