Chelsea are set to re-kindle their interest in Juventus full-back Alex Sandro, after the club failed with multiple bids to sign the Brazilian in the summer, according to a report in the Mirror.
Blues boss Antonio Conte has had £60m rated Sandro at the top of his wish list for some time and the London club’s board members want to show their commitment to the Italian by getting him the player that he desires.
Conte has been heavily linked with a move back to his homeland but the board at Stamford Bridge want to do everything possible to keep the manager at the club for the foreseeable future.

Juventus are aware of Chelsea’s interest and are still trying to persuade the left-back to sign a new contract with the club.
Conte wants to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window to enable them to challenge in all competitions with the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United.
The Turin club have reportedly offered 26-year-old Sandro a £5m-a-year deal to stay in Italy but he’s yet to put pen-to-paper.
