Chelsea have been dealt a big blow ahead of their clash against Crystal Palace next weekend.
According to ITV, the Blues could be without star duo Alvaro Morata and N’Golo Kante, who are both currently struggling with respective hamstring injuries.
Morata suffered what has been described as a grade two hamstring tear in Chelsea’s defeat to Manchester City before the international break, leading to fears that he will be out of action for a prolonged period of time.
Kante, on the other hand, is nursing a more recent injury. He hobbled off clutching his hamstring as France went on to defeat Bulgaria 1-0 away from home. The extent of the injury is known at this stage.
Both players have been hugely influential this season and have helped Chelsea to what has been, on the whole, a positive start to the campaign.
Antonio Conte will be hoping that the pair can return to fitness for the game against Palace.
