Charly Musonda has been embraced as part of the first-team squad at Chelsea this season but the young Belgian doesn’t seem content with his situation at Stamford Bridge.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has taken to Instagram to seemingly hit out at Chelsea, seeming to insinuate that his hard work is not being rewarded at the club.

You sacrifice, you work hard, harder, you give more than what’s expected, and often more than you can, because you love what you do and clearly more than you should. And what do you get back? Literally nothing,… done. However, with this being said I will continue with same dedication and commitment to this great game.

Musonda has been touted as the Chelsea youngster that will finally bridge the gap between the youth system and the first-team after making his senior debut in the Community Shield defeat to Arsenal, the first of three appearances for the Blues so far.

Capped 12 times by the Belgian U21 side, Musonda scored his first Chelsea goal in a 5-1 win over Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup earlier this season and has regularly featured on the bench in the Premier League.

After joining Chelsea as a 15-year-old from Anderlecht, Musonda has developed through the academy at Stamford Bridge and is regarded as one of the best young players in English football today, but it’s clear he’s not happy right now which could spell trouble down the line.
