Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has allayed fears that he will exit the club in the near future.
Reports of late have suggested that a return to the managerial post at the Italian national team was on the cards for Conte, with Gian Piero Ventura’s future under threat.
However, as quoted by the Daily Mail, Conte told reporters on Friday that he remains committed and happy with Chelsea.
One day in the future (I will return to Italy) but I know very well my position. I have two years on my contract with Chelsea to go and I’m happy to work for this club, with my players and I like to work with my players.
I like to have this great feeling with our fans, our supporters and I don’t see problems. Another situation I want to clarify is my family is staying with me here. They are not staying in Italy (unlike last season). My daughter is going to school here in Cobham.

The former Juventus man enjoyed a hugely successful maiden campaign in the Premier League, helping Chelsea to regain the title once again.
Every coach when they start their work with a club for sure they hope to stay for a long time and to try to build something important for the club.
However several reports have come to light since that Conte is in fact unhappy at Chelsea. Despite this though, the Blues boss seems committed to the cause at Stamford Bridge, and is looking to produce yet more heroics in charge.
But I always say our job is very difficult and it is very strange because one day you are the best and another day you stay at your home.
Chelsea are currently some way off the top of the table, with Manchester United and Manchester City leading the way. They’ll be hoping to gain ground on their title rivals against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
