Chelsea defender Gary Cahill insists that his side will do all they can to bounce back against Roma, talkSPORT have reported.
The Blues suffered a shock defeat at the hands of rock-bottom Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon, leaving them nine points behind league leaders Manchester City only eight games into the season.
When you have had a bad result and a bad performance, you want to play again as soon as possible, which is midweek for us, to try and put it right.
However, the games are coming thick and fast at this stage of the season, and it’s Roma up next for Chelsea.
The result is gone and you go in and you work and you work and you go to produce a performance on Wednesday that we know we can produce to get that winning feeling back and then we go from there.

Antonio Conte’s side take on Eusebio Di Francesco’s Roma outfit on Wednesday night, and Cahill has backed his men to produce a performance against the Serie A outfit.
Despite their inconsistencies in the Premier League this season, Chelsea are in good form in the Champions League. They sit at the top of their group following wins against Qarabag and Atletico Madrid.
You saw the real Chelsea last season and it is important we try to emulate that sort of form this season consistently.
Cahill has come under fire once again in recent times, and will be keen to put in a stellar defensive performance against Roma.
