As the Premier League announce their live fixture schedule, no fewer than four of Chelsea’s matches in the final month of the calendar year have been moved after they were selected for television coverage.
Firstly, Chelsea’s home clash with newly-promoted Newcastle United will now be the early afternoon kick-off at 12:30PM on Saturday, December 2nd, live on Sky Sports.
The following weekend sees the Blues travel across the city to East London for a fierce London Derby with West Ham. The match has also been moved to Sky Sports’ early Saturday afternoon slot, with the game at the London Stadium scheduled to kick-off at 12:30PM.
In the first of many mid-week games in December, Chelsea’s maiden trip to Huddersfield in the Premier League will now take place on Tuesday, December 12th at 8PM live on BT Sport.
Finally, Chelsea’s trip to Goodison Park to take on Everton will be another early Saturday 12:30PM kick-off on Sky Sports, this time on Saturday, December 23rd. There are no Christmas Eve fixtures this season.
