Chelsea defender David Luiz has been dropped from the Brazil squad for their upcoming friendly matches, the Daily Mail have reported.
The powerful centre-back has been a key player for his country over recent years but it looks as though Brazil boss Tite is poised to experiment with more options in his squad.
Luiz is understood to still be a key player for Brazil, but with the friendlies against Japan and England coming up next month, Tite would like to see other players proving their worth.

Luiz has been involved in a mixed start to the season for Chelsea. The start to the campaign has seen him turn in performances consisting of defensive excellence, worrying discipline and moments of magic, particularly on Wednesday night in Chelsea’s 3-3 draw with Roma.
The ex-PSG man opened the scoring with a sublime strike, helping the Blues to keep up their unbeaten run in the Champions League group stage.
