After suffering back to back Premier League defeats to Manchester City and Crystal Palace for the first time since the losses to Liverpool and Arsenal 13 months ago, people were beginning to fear the wheels were coming off at Stamford Bridge.
Over the last week or so, Chelsea have steadied the ship, coming from behind to comfortably beating Watford 4-2 last weekend and then seeing off Everton 2-1 on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup.
