Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is set to give N’Golo Kante the choice as to whether he plays against Roma or not, the Telegraph reports.
The Frenchman is on his way back from a hamstring injury sustained while on international duty, and it looks as though he’s edging increasingly closer to a full recovery.
Kante is a key player for Chelsea and his presence has noticeably been missed, with the Blues stuttering in recent times.
Conte spoke about the ex-Leicester man ahead of the match, and insisted that he is allowing Kante to declare his own fitness, with the game against Roma in mind.

About N’Golo Kanté, he has trained with us. He trained also before the game against Bournemouth. I think it’s very important, in this moment, to speak with the player and then see his sensation.
I was a player and you know very well that, after an injury, above all a muscular problem – a bad injury – it’s very important to listen to the player and what are his sensations and then make the best decision for him, for the team. For sure, on Wednesday, we’ll try to make the best decision.
Chelsea could extend their lead at the top of their Champions League group with a win over the Italian giants, but will know that they face a difficult test following the reverse fixture’s ongoings.
Roma took a point away from Stamford Bridge earlier on in the month, in what was an enthralling 3-3 draw.
