A host of Premier League clubs including Chelsea have been alerted by the news that AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci may be allowed to leave the club next month as reported by Talksport.
Bonucci only moved to the Milan club after leaving Juventus during the summer although its not thought he may be available for a transfer.
AC Milan made big moves in the transfer market during the summer and had plans to build the team around the experienced Italian defender after making him captain.
Milan are seriously underperforming this season as they sit in 8th place in Serie A, which has made the former Juventus man reconsider his options to further his career.
Bonucci has never played in the Premier League and if one of the big clubs in England were to move for him then he would be keen although his preferred choice would be to remain in Italy to see out the rest of his career there.
Both Chelsea and Manchester City attempted to sign the player in the last transfer window but Milan just got in ahead but it now looks as though the tables may have been turned.
