Michy Batshuayi wanted by Sevilla on loan

Michy Batshuayi’s torrid time at Chelsea seems to be coming to an end.

Having fallen out of favour with Antonio Conte, Batshuayi is being targeted by a number of clubs on these shores and abroad but Goal understand that La Liga side Sevilla are plotting a move for the striker.

Chelsea shelled out £33m to bring in the Belgium international from Marseille last summer but he failed to really establish himself at Stamford Bridge despite scoring the goal at the Hawthorns last season which sealed the Premier League title for the Blues.

In his 18 months at the club, Batshuayi has netted 16 goals in 48 appearances across all competitions which is a respectable return but the Blues would like a more reliable option to Alvaro Morata in attack.

The likes of West Ham and Newcastle have been linked in the past but Sevilla are hoping to reach an agreement to bring him to Spain on loan until the end of the season.
