Chelsea star Eden Hazard has spoken about his future at the club after months of talk regarding a move to Real Madrid, as reported by Football London.
He has been heavily linked with Spanish giants Real Madrid for some time now as Chelsea try to pen the 27-year-old down to a long-term contract to fend off the Spanish club’s interest.
Manchester City are also thought to have shown an interest in the player, although the Blues are reluctant to sell to a Premier League rival.
The Belgian has had another fine season despite starting it on the sidelines, netting 18 goals in just 31 games and has played a key role in the Blues’ system so far this term.
When the 27-year-old doesn’t feature for Chelsea, it’s clear for all to see just how much they miss the player due to the quality which he possesses.
Whilst he didn’t rule out a move away, Hazard said he was happy at the club.
In football anything can happen. But in football nothing can happen too. Every year they talk about Real or PSG. And when I want to change clubs, I will. But at the moment I’m good where I am.
I still have two year left on my contract. I feel very good over here. The fans love me, my family enjoys life over here. We will see.
