Willian receives Brazil call-up

Chelsea winger Willian has been called up to the Brazil squad for their upcoming games against Russia and Germany as they prepare for the World Cup this summer.

Willian has been in sensational form for Chelsea this season and is fully deserving of his call-up up to the squad.

The Chelsea man has netted 14 goals in 44 games in all competitions and has netted some key goals, including the crucial strike against Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash.

He joins four other current Premier League players in the squad, Ederson, Gabriel Jesus, Fernandinho and Roberto Firmino as the South Americans get their preparations underway for the summer.

The 29-year-old also featured in his country’s most recent encounter, which ended in a 0-0 draw at Wembley Stadium against England in November and will be keen to continue his club form onto the international stage.
