PSG end pursuit of Chelsea-bound Luis Enrique

Chelsea are widely expected to part ways with Antonio Conte in the summer but as of yet, there is no replacement on his way.

Former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is one of the hot names being linked with the potential vacancy at Stamford Bridge but the Spaniard is not short of suitors.

Paris Saint-Germain were said to be interested in appointing Enrique as Unai Emery’s successor in the dugout at the Parc des Princes following his latest Champions League failure, but French source  La Parisien are now claiming that the Ligue 1 side are ending their pursuit of the former Roma boss.

It’s believed that PSG are moving onto other names on their shortlist as they believe that Enrique will be heading to Chelsea in the summer.

Enrique took a year out of the game last summer after leaving Barcelona following three years at the helm at the Nou Camp, winning nine trophies including the Champions League in 2014/15.

Arsenal were also in the running to bring in Enrique in the summer but all signs point to him taking over at Chelsea.
