Chelsea reportedly held initial talks with Ancelotti

Chelsea have held preliminary talks with their former boss Carlo Ancelotti as they look ahead to next season, according to claims from Le Parisien, via GFFN.

Antonio Conte’s reign at Chelsea looks very unlikely to continue beyond the current season as the Blues hierarchy look for a replacement for the Italian.

It seems Chelsea have identified Ancelotti as a potential option to take the reins at the club, however, a move to Arsenal appears to be on the ex-Bayern Munich boss’ mind.

The 58-year-old is currently out of work after being sacked by Bayern last season but appears to be ready to step back into management.

He has taken charge of the likes of PSG, Real Madrid, Juventus, AC Milan and Chelsea as he has grown a stunning CV along the way. He now appears to be eyeing another illustrious job to add to the list.
