Alvaro Morata is willing to leave Chelsea in the summer

Chelsea’s summer signing Alvaro Morata is already willing to depart the club after an underwhelming first season in England, according to Calciomercato.

It is reported that the Spanish forward would ‘more than willingly’ make a return to former club Juventus as he really enjoyed his time in Italy.

Morata joined Chelsea from Real Madrid in a mega deal worth around £60 million last July, but has failed to make the impact expected after scoring 13 goals in 38 appearances for the Blues.

The major stumbling block in getting any deal done will be the price. Chelsea will not want to lose out on Morata, therefore, he will command a fee of around £60 million, and the 25 year-old will be expecting similar wages of around €8 million after tax.

“Evaluations are in progress” at this stage for Juventus and you would imagine they would be keen to get Morata back in Turin.
