Chelsea are looking to swoop in and snap up the Arsenal right back, whether or not Antonio Conte is in charge of the Blues next season.
The Daily Express is reporting that a deal for Bellerin may go ahead as Arsenal may go ahead, with Manchester United also keeping an eye on the Spaniard’s situation.
Bellerin has been part of the Arsenal first team since 2013 but may be persuaded to make a switch due to the chance that Arsenal may not be playing Champions League football again next season.
The right-back is set to be worth around £35 million, leaving whoever is in charge of Arsenal next year with a chance to put their own stamp on the club.
Speaking about what his future holds, Bellerin said:
Everyone who has played in the Champions League wants to get back to playing in it again.
We all want to be at the top level. To not play in the Champions League is a disappointment, something negative.
It’s not ideal and it could condition my plans a little, yes.
