Chelsea targeting teenage striker Musa Barrow

Chelsea have sent scouts to watch 19-year-old striker Musa Barrow of Atalanta, according to Football Italia.

The youngster has an extraordinary record in Primavera since graduating from the Oribici youth academy, scoring 23 goals in just 18 games.

With his recent form of two goals and two assists in his last four Serie A outings, the Gambian prospect is already attracting interest from an array of top clubs.

Along with Chelsea, Gazzamercato claims that the Atalanta man has already been targeted by Inter, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.

Scouts from Stamford Bridge will be at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday as Barrow’s Atalanta take on Lazio.

Roman Abramovich will have to make a bid of around €25-30m to prise him away from the Italian side, the sort of fee the Russian is not usually shy of paying.

There is no surprise that the West London club are in the market for another striker, as £60 million man Alvaro Morata has not been as reliable as they first hoped.
