PSV unlikely to be able afford permanent Van Ginkel deal

Dutch champions PSV are unlikely to be able to afford a permanent deal for Chelsea midfielder Marco Van Ginkel this summer.

De Telegraaf, as cited by Sport Witness, claim that the midfielder has played his final game for the club and is due to return to Stamford Bridge this summer.

PSV have long been linked with a permanent move for the Dutch midfielder following his impressive form since joining the club.

The report claims that the midfielder will simply be out of their price range, even if a deal was on the cards.

Van Ginkel has not played for Chelsea since September 2013, when an anterior cruciate ligament injury ruled him out for seven months.

It is yet to be seen whether or not the player has a future at Stamford Bridge.

During his loan spell at PSV this season, the 25-year-old scored 14 goals from midfield with a further four assists, helping his side to their domestic title.
