Jeremie Boga issues Chelsea ultimatum: Play me or sell me
Chelsea midfielder Jeremie Boga says he does not want to be sent out on loan next season as he wants to be involved in the first-team or sold.
In an interview with French outlet Footmercato, the 21-year-old spoke candidly about his future at Stamford Bridge.
Boga joined the Blues 10 years ago as an Under 12 and experienced his first loan spell at Rennes in 2015-16.
He spent the next season in Spain with Granada, before spending the current campaign on loan at Championship outfit Birmingham City having made his competitive Chelsea debut on the first day of the Premier League season.
About his situation, Boga said:
I have clear ideas for my future. This is my third season of loans. I have a lot of experience at the end of the season and I feel ready for next year either to fight to try to impose myself to Chelsea or to leave the club. I do not really want another loan. Of course I would like to have guarantees. This year, I had the chance to make the first league match with Chelsea in the Premier League. So we never know, if I have good discussions with them, that everything is going well, that the coach’s speech suits me, I do not close the door to Chelsea to stay.
The midfielder is usually deployed in the number 10 role, and now has over 100 competitive first-team appearances to his name.
