Le10 Sport are today reporting that talks between the Blues and the Ligue 1 club could be ‘imminent’ with the west London club ready to get the negotiations under way.

The French website even went onto say that they believe ‘it wont be long’ before Chelsea make their move as they fully believe he has the talent and is ready for the Prem.

This advancement in the story follows a report in L’Equipe from April saying that Conte had initiated contact to try and get a transfer under way.

The Ivory Coast international was very close to joining Barcelona last summer but the deal fell through last minute.

This season Nice have been no where near the level they were at in the previous one, with the team’s performance levels dropping as a whole, Seri’s performances have also dropped. Despite this big clubs appear to still be interested in the player.

The Ligue 1 club are reportedly asking for €40million for the player and thy have said they have received no offers as of yet. Any Prem teams that want the player will have to pay the asking price as Nice have they they will no take any less.
