Morata reportedly holds further talks with Juve in meeting

The links regarding Alvaro Morata’s potential transfer from Chelsea to Juventus don’t seem to be stopping any time soon.

Juve’s CEO Giuseppe Marotta has recently dispelled claims that the club will attempt to re-sign Morata in the summer, insisting that they are happy with their current crop of attackers.

They are simply rumours and I want to deny [that we want Morata] because we have a great attacking department.

However, as per a report from Tuttosport, via Calciomercato, Morata recently met up with a representative from Juventus, ‘confirming’ that a deal is still being chased by the Serie A giants.

The report claims that Fabio Paratici, who is currently Juventus’ sporting director, met up with Morata in a Milan-based hotel on Thursday morning as the pair staged further talks over a potential return for the Spaniard.

Morata has been heavily linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer and Juve have often been outlined as the most likely destination by the Italian media.

Chelsea are understood to be targeting attacking options this summer and after a difficult period in England, it seems Morata could be on the move if reports are to be believed.
