Higuain would be keen to work with Sarri again amid Chelsea links

Gonzalo Higuain would be interested in working with Maurizio Sarri again, amid reports that the pair could both arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Daily Mail claim that Sarri is interested in bringing the striker to Chelsea, with reports suggesting he has agreed terms to join the club this summer.

The report claims that the pair have maintained a strong relationship from Higuain’s time at Napoli and the striker has previously expressed his desire to work with the manager again.

A move for Higuain would go against Chelsea’s policy of signing ageing players, with the former Real Madrid forward due to turn 31 in December, but his goalscoring record may be enough to convince them.

Any move for the Argentinian striker could include Alvaro Morata to sweeten the deal.

Juventus have been keen to bring the striker back to Turin after he impressed during his brief stint in Italy.

The Spaniard is being linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge after just one season following his poor form since the turn of the year.
