Chelsea were one of the clubs to be linked with the player, but this has been all but ended after he revealed that he wants to be playing football in the Champions League.
He is still without a Champions League winners medal and this is something that he is targeting when he chooses where his next destination is this summer.
This means that Real Madrid is a likely transfer for the club with Karim Benzema looking like leaving the Spanish giants.
