Chelsea are keen to keep Eden Hazard at the club and have been handed a big bonus due to the fact that Zinedine Zidane has left Real Madrid, as the Frenchman was keen on signing Hazard, according to the Evening Standard.
Hazard’s current deal with Chelsea has two years left to run and he has been constantly linked with a move to Madrid, who won the Champions League final last season.

Prior to leaving the Spanish giants, Zidane was keen on bringing Hazard to the club, potentially as a replacement for Gareth Bale and saw the former Madrid manager was the Belgian’s idol when he was growing up.
Zidane’s shock departure from the European champions means that Madrid’s summer plans are now up in the air whilst they appoint a new manager, and as such, the chances that they make a move to sign Hazard seems much lower than they did a few weeks ago.
