Chelsea winger Eden Hazard is seeking clarity over the club’s ongoing managerial situation, ESPN reports.
The Blues are looking all but set to relieve Antonio Conte of his duties as the club’s first-team manager but are yet to identify an established replacement for the Italian.
Maurizio Sarri, Laurent Blanc and Slavisa Jokanovic have all been considered for the role but no conclusion has been reached by Chelsea in their bid to replace Conte.
Hazard, who continues to be linked with moves to clubs such as Real Madrid, recently gave his thoughts on the ongoing predicament surrounding Conte’s future at the club.
Yeah, I want to know. I want to know, but like I say I am focused on the World Cup. If we have something new – manager or players – it is always good to know it because I want players that can [help bring success back to] Chelsea next season.
The tricky wide player will be hoping to enjoy a strong summer with his country as Belgium seek World Cup glory in Russia, with the competition starting this month.
Hazard will, however, hope to see Chelsea’s managerial conundrum resolved by the time he returns from international duty and begins pre-season with the Blues.
