Davide Zappacosta is being linked with a swift return to Italy with reports claiming that Inter are considering a summer move for the player.
Tuttosport, as cited by football.london, state that Inter are keen to bring the player back to Serie A.
The report claims that a loan deal with an option to buy the player could be on the cards.
The San Siro outfit are looking to strengthen their squad following their return to the Champions League.
Chelsea themselves are keen to not lose money on the player who joined for £23 million during the January transfer window.
After joining from Torino, Zappacosta made an instant impact with a spectacular goal in the Champions League against Qarabag but has failed to make a significant impact since.
Antonio Conte often opted to use Victor Moses on the right-hand side of his back five, meaning game time was few and far between for the Italian international.
