AC Milan are reportedly ready to offer Gianluigi Donnarumma to Chelsea in exchange for Alvaro Morata.
Il Corriere dello Sport, as cited by Calcio Mercato, claim that the Italian outfit are keen on landing the Spaniard this summer and believe the Italian goalkeeper could boost their chances.
After failing to qualify for the Champions League last season, Milan are unable to splash the cash this summer.
Donnarumma is widely recognised as one of the best young goalkeepers and is one of Milan’s most valuable assets.
The report claims that Milan would be open to the idea of a deal if it boosted their chances of signing the Spanish international.
Morata has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge after a disappointing first season in London. A season of injuries and off-the-field issues have seen the former Real Madrid forward fail to live up to expectation.
Chelsea face the prospect of seeing Thibaut Courtois push for a move away from the club this summer.
With his contract expiring in 2019, they could be forced into a deal this summer.
