Rugani has been linked with a €30 million move to Stamford Bridge following the news that Maurizio Sarri is due to take over this summer.

The Italian international is a player that Sarri knows well from his time at Empoli and is someone he tried to sign for Napoli during his time in charge of thePartenopei.

Sarri remains a fan of the player and the Blues are looking to secure his services this summer.

Previous reports have suggested that Juventus would be open to a sale, but would prefer to receive around €40 million for the 23-year-old.
