Chelsea target Jose Callejon will reportedly be allowed to leave Napoli if Carlo Ancelotti’s side can secure a deal for Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa this summer.
The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for the Spaniard and according to reports from Italy, Chiesa’s potential arrival at the Stadio San Paolo could have a domino effect.
Napoli’s interest in recruiting the Italian international has been well documented in recent times and according to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, as cited by Football Italia, a huge bid worth €75m has been submitted to Fiorentina.
This move would apparently open the door for Chelsea target Callejon, who is also being courted by AC Milan, to leave Napoli.
Chelsea are hoping to confirm Maurizio Sarri as their new first-team manager in the immediate future and reports have indicated that he would like to reunite with a whole host of Napoli players at Stamford Bridge.
Among those who he would like to recruit is Callejon, but it seems his future in Naples rests on the club’s pursuit of the highly-rated Chiesa.
