Napoli are said to be preparing a bid for Chelsea defender David Luiz, according to reports in Italy.
Il Mattino, as cited on Football Italia, suggest that a €30 million offer is being prepared by the Naples outfit.
Luiz has been linked with a move to Italy after it was suggested that he could be used in a deal to bring Maurizio Sarri to England.
Sarri is closing in on the Chelsea job, with an announcement said to be imminent, but it does not look like Luiz is part of the deal.
Luiz fell out of favour at Chelsea during the second half of the season after a reported bust-up with head coach Antonio Conte.
The Brazilian defender was limited to just a handful of appearances and looks to have played his last game for the Blues.
Chelsea are also being linked with moves for the likes of Kostas Manolas and Daniele Rugani, which could also be a signal about Luiz’s future.
